Factors Influencing the Conservation Intentions of Visitors to a World Heritage Site: A Case Study of Libo Karst

The behavioral intention of tourists to protect the environment is a popular topic in tourism geography research. Understanding mechanisms that influence post-tour intentions heritage site visitors can effectively promote generation positive for sustainable development sites. Starting from “cognitive–emotional–behavioral” path attitude theory, we introduced environmental knowledge awareness (EKA), geomorphological value perception (GVP), place attachment (PA) and (BI) variables construct model mechanism tourists’ towards conservation sites; test this on Libo World Natural Heritage Site, karst southern China, as an example. results show following: (1) (EKA) basis (BI), plays influential mediating role. (2) Geomorphological (GVP) has effect intention.
